I made the transition with relaxed to natural hair with my short cut. I fell in love with my short hair and I really don't want to grow it out right now. I just want to learn how to rock the short curly style.
The main reason I'm wearing my hair curly is because I work out too much! You can't have straight natural hair and work out 5 days a week. Your hair won't stay straight. It just becomes a big bush and I have to put heat on it to look presentable after workouts. Everyone knows too much heat is horrible for the hair so I'm going to try the curls. I refuse to give up my workout regimen, especially since I'm training for marathon numero dos! (updates to come) If it was up to me I would always wear the wig straight. It is just my preference. But healthy hair is more important to me than straight hair. Blah blah blah. Therefore changes have to be made. *sigh*
The problem is I'm not into hair. I never have been. As long as it looks decent and I have on a bangin outfit I'm good. Hair styling or hair care is not my forte! I know my weakness so I've looked to natural hair experts for their advice. The main source I've been getting my information from is The Moptop Maven.
