Every woman knows that sad moment when you go to put on a pair of your jeans and they won't zip up. Or even worse, when you can't fit them over your thighs or butt. You start asking yourself, when is the last time I wore these jeans? Did I dry them too much? Naw boo! You've gained weight. Face it! All of those chicken wings, cookies, ice cream, cheese fries and wine have finally settled in your thighs. Or maybe it's just me. I can't fit anything! I tried on four pairs of jeans last Friday and none of them fit. The first two pairs I could get on but I couldn't zip them up and sit down comfortably. The other two didn't even have a chance of reuniting with the top of my thighs. It was a sad morning. Thank God for jeggings! They saved my life that day.
Most women would say, oh its ok. Those jeans are old. I need a new pair of jeans anyway. But not I! Not anymore. Excuses are monuments of nothingness people! I can't buy new jeans and I love the ones I own. Especially when I could fit them six months ago. Now three months ago when I couldn't fit most of my slacks, I was fine with that. But not my denim. Nope.
I'm clowning about my clothes but seriously, I have to get on it. All of my bad habits are starting to catch up with me. Eating and sleeping, not eating a proper breakfast, and skipping some of my workouts. I've been a disgrace! lol Usually I've had a goal to work towards like a 1/2 marathon or a 1/4 marathon. Instead of racing to the finish line, I'm racing to the closet. I'm on a mission: Get in those jeans! Creative right! I have one month to fit into my boot cut jeans comfortably. Since I'm putting it on my blog, I can't be slacker, and everyone would know. I will keep ya'll updated. Hopefully my decision to get back on the workout wagon will encourage someone else to do the same. Remember ladies, you aren't living up to your fly potential (you like that? lol) if you aren't taking care of your body. Start today! Get a friend or family member on board while you're at it.
Stay fit and fab!
