This movie is the Crash of breast cancer. It interconnects five short stories about women dealing with the disease. Since October is breast cancer month, I think this is fabulous way to show awareness for breast cancer. These three women are very unique and have an extensive fan base. Collaborating on this movie was a great way to reach a wide variety of people.
200,000 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year. 40,000 of those women will die for the disease. Another 50,000 women will be diagnosed with non-invasive breast cancer. That's a whole lot of women. I myself lost a dear friend to breast cancer earlier this year. My grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer before I was even born. My mother is amongst the 2.5 million breast cancer survivors. Cancer is all around me and I'm all about promoting breast cancer awareness. We have to save the ta-tas! Ladies don't skip your monthly self examinations. My mother had her mammogram and her doctor said she didn't have any abnormal cells. Two weeks later, she did her self examination and found a lump! Crazy right? No one knows your girls better than you do. So don't neglect your breast!
